I’m thrilled to announce that
Jen Rodriguez, (the very last entry!), is the winner picked via random.org.
Jen, I’ll be in touch soon- and congrats!
My children are Minnesotans at their core.
Snow makes them giddy, sixty degrees sounds like perfect shorts weather to them, and the lack of snow this year – confuses them.
“But what should we do?” They ask, looking longingly at their sleds, while their bikes and their chalk and their jump ropes remain untouched.
So when our family can’t find our spark outside, we bring it all in.
And my transplanted-from-California skin is secretly thrilled. Because snow is cold and snow pants are uncomfortable.
And inside time, is perfect for holiday fun.
Valentine’s Day holds a special place in my heart.
I adore the focus on friendship and love and kindness.
And even the glitter and the frosting and the crafts don’t scare me away.
Our Valentine’s Day is puzzle pieced together in all things red, white, and pink.
1. Clothes – I leave surprise outfits out on holiday mornings.
2. Treats – Cupid Clusters and hot chocolate with pink marshmallows are our favorite easy sweet treats. I also sprinkle candy hearts into cereal (and popcorn!) bowls.
3. Crafts – Hearts + Foam Stickers + Markers = Easy, Cute Valentines
4. Notes – I write “Happy Valentine’s Day” on the kids’ bathroom mirror in lipstick. I’m also excited to try this Heart Attack idea ala Pinterest.
5. Journals – A few Valentine’s Days ago, each of my children made a “Love Journal.” In it, they write and draw what they love. A dear friend of mine has a sign in her kitchen that says, “Whatever is lovely, think of these things.” I want my own kids to notice and think about all of the lovely things around them.
And this year, I’m over the moon to send out family valentines. I want to show my kids that even as adults, we make lovely things for those we adore.
My love for Minted knows no bounds – fresh designs, easy navigation, and excellent customer service.

Love this idea: “I leave surprise outfits out on holiday mornings.” I think I’m going to get the all Valentine’s Day shirts (and a dress for the baby who turns her nose up at anything that does not involve a frill).
Great giveaway! Count me in!

Good gravy. I have no idea what I’d do with them, but I’m in. They’re so cute that I’ll just make up family members and send them valentines. “Hi, this is your long lost cousin Jessie. I’ve missed the closeness we used to share, and sent you a Valentine to remind you of our great adventures.”
I can see their “HUH? WHO?” faces already.
Definitely count me in! How fun!
What beautiful kids you have, Galit. Seriously, those are some future heart breakers for sure!

I like this idea! George and I don’t do much for Valentine’s Day, but that doesn’t mean I don’t send my girlfriends (single or otherwise) romance bashing love notes.

Valentine’s Day is not only “love” day in Mexico but also “Friendship day” so I used to make a big deal about the “friendship” celebration part of it, maybe I should re-take that tradition by sending some “Valentine’s” to our grown-up friends. Count me in for the give away!
I have to admit, I would love a chance to win these! Am I allowed to win something if I’ve already won something? But they really do look cool! Off to tweet your awesomeness!
Oh my gosh, love Minted (and you) , great giveaway!
