Tell Your Story

I’m giving away holiday cards from Minted and I want to give them to you! Yes, you!

The details are here.

We walk entwined. He talks, I listen.

He lilts about the tallest of climbing walls, the most delicious of goldfish crackers, and the girl with the prettiest of curls.

He talks about fires and how big they can get and about fire-people and how brave they must be.

He weaves his likes and his wants and his fears in one tight braid.

This is his story, he tells it with ease.

Me, Tracy of Sellabit Mum, Heather of The Extraordinary Ordinary, and Vikki of Up Popped A Fox. AKA: New friends, weaving stories.

We sit in a small booth, all elbows and knees and laughter. Ohmygoodness, the laughter.

Silverware clangs, high heeled boots click, and the most decadent of desserts are served.

We look into each other’s eyes, and see our stories begin to braid within them.

We’re all meant to do this, tell these stories of ours.

The light and the funny and the hard and the sad and every single strand in between – they’re all meant to be told, and heard.

Ann Imig knew this with every fiber of her being.

And wrapped inside all of that Knowing and Feeling and Being, she created Listen to Your Mother, where stories of motherhood born through blogging, were given a voice on stage.

I’m beyond thrilled and humbled and honored to announce that Tracy, Heather, Vikki, and I are co-bringing Listen to Your Mother to the Twin Cities this spring.

Since we got the okay from Ann, that she trusts us with her baby, beautiful things began to happen.

We met, we laughed, dialogue was started, and continued, our stories began threading in the space between us.

We hope you trust us with your story, because wow, do we ever want to hear it.

We’ll share more about the show as the details unfold. But for right now, we’re celebrating.

We’re celebrating the stories that are right on the cusp of being told.

{Go for it.}

Alison and I are thrilled that Memories Captured is here again!

This month, one lucky linker will win a Traffic Boosting Report from The Strategic Mama!

The report is a useful tool if you want to optimize your blog and monetize it. It will include a site evaluation and recommendations on how to optimize your site for search engines, using keyword research, Google Analytics, and Webmaster Tools.

Our linky will be open November 12-16, the badge is in my sidebar, and you can find out more about Memories Captured here.

With that, let the linking and the swooning begin!
