Today I’d like to talk about apologizing to my kids.
This is something that I loosely do all.the.time.
I do it for a voice that edged too hard or a patience that wore too thin or a morning that started out too wrong.
But sometimes my kids need, deserve even, a more formal apology, and that’s what I wrote about at my friend Natalie’s place, Mommy of a Monster and Twins for her series “Mommy Monster Moments.”
I should tell you that this post was oh so very humbling to write, but that I’d like nothing more than to share it with you, and to hear your thoughts about moments just like this.
I can’t wait to see you there! xo
