As soon as the numbers on the clock switch from the 6s to the 7s, she comes into the room.
Her eyes and her cheeks and her hair are all shaded in sleepy, but she’s ready.
Is it dry? Can we pop it? Do we get to use the light today?
She’s talking about our BabbaBox, a themed, all inclusive package we got in the mail that has my girl out of bed while it’s still dark and me paper mache-ing at home – and liking it.
The theme of our box is Sun, Moon, and Stars, and when it arrived all three of my children couldn’t wait to dig in and start exploring. And I, couldn’t wait to spend time together.
As a former teacher, I appreciate the theme, the creativity, the multi-media, the literacy and the science connections, and the fun in our BabbaBox.
And as a mom, I’m over the moon for the chance to spend hands on time with my children, that someone else planned, organized, and delivered to my door.
I love that our family gathered around the table day after day picking new activities and learning together.
The themed box had so many ways for the learning to cycle and build including binoculars, a phases of the moon calendar, a book, a musical digital download and planet finder, and a hands on paper mache project making our own moon nightlight.
How completely fabulous is that?
I adore BabbaBox for our family and as a creative gift idea for others.
